Alan is an experienced business leader, with a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise in the aged care and retirement village sector.  He is a member of the Executive Committee of The Retirement Villages Association of New Zealand.

Alan’s vision and leadership skills were brought to the fore in 2012, when he led and managed the Company through a capital and ownership restructure, together with a significant merger with Private Life Care and Vision Senior Living.

Along with the Board and his team of skilled senior executives, Alan is responsible for realising Metlifecare’s vision to be the leading provider in the New Zealand aged care and retirement village market.

As Managing Director of Metlifecare, his role encompasses the planning, development and implementation of the Company’s exciting growth strategy. Alan leads by example, and his empathy for older people and passion to deliver quality aged care options is reflected at all levels of the Metlifecare business.
