Homecare Workers - Highland Park
Metlifecare Highlands is a large, friendly retirement village set amongst beautiful, well established gardens and trees. The village is located in the heart of Auckland’s eastern suburbs just minutes away from the local shopping centre and Lloyd Elsmore Park.
At Metlifecare we are committed to making retirement the best time of our residents’ lives and to this end, the team are on the look-out for Homecare Workers to join them on a part time basis in providing high quality care and service to our residents.
As a valued member of the team, you will enjoy providing ‘squeaky clean’ service and empathetic care to our residents in their homes, as you will have a high standard of cleanliness with attention to detail and take pride in a job well done. You will be reliable, honest and friendly with the ability to work unsupervised as well as being a supportive member of the team. A good command of written and spoken English is essential for this role.
Ideally you’ll have had some previous caregiving/homecare/cleaning experience and/or an ACE qualification with a willingness to grow your clinical care skills viain-house training and utilising training support towards further qualifications. It is desirable that you have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-days-a-week roster.
