Easter arrived early at Metlifecare!
At Hillsborough Heights and Papamoa Beach Village, residents celebrated the joy of the season with a traditional Easter bonnet parade and Easter Egg hunt. After a week of wet soggy weather, the sun shone on a morning of sweet treats, outdoorsy fun, and good old fashioned happy family time.
Residents decorated their own extravagant “bonnets” and took pride in parading them through the village, where they were joined by eager youngsters – and even a friendly four-legged canine friend. The kids had a ball of time, excitedly racing around the villages, on the hunt for hidden (and not-so-well hidden!) chocolate eggs. Particular eggs-citement was reserved for the special eggs which came with an awesome $50 retail prezzy card hidden inside.
It was definitely a fun day out for friends and family. Happy Easter!
