THE METLIFECARE MAKERS – MAKE CHRISTMAS MAGICAL
Earlier in the year, we gave our residents a challenge – to learn all about the part that new technologies can play in “making”, to enhance the practical skills they’ve always had. The “Metlifecare Makers Movement” was born! At The Orchards village, residents produced their own 3D-printed cookie cutters. See their story in the video below.
Meanwhile, at our Highlands village in Highland Park, residents set about designing a magnificent outdoor structure – which turned out to be a pre-fabricated Christmas tree, designed on computer, and using CNC (computer numerical control) cutting to bring it to life.
Watch their journey, in our video above, and see how the whole village got involved making Christmas magical.
Merry Christmas, from everyone at Metlifecare!
