Welcome to the first of a series of Pohutukawa Landing newsletters, we will do our best to keep you informed as information comes to hand.
Plenty of progress
There has been a lot of site works progressing the last 6 months. The works generally comprise filling in a central gully, installing public drainage, constructing perimeter retaining walls to enable utilities and extension of Winterman and Seventh View Avenue to begin. To give you an idea of the magnitude of earthworks, we have had to import approximately 14,000m3 of fill to achieve the desired site levels. This stage always seems to me to take a long time but is important to set the solid platform for the future. The majority of these works will be complete around the middle of this year with some residual works around Ninth View and eastern boundary to occur next summer.
Building works will begin on the first stage villas in May this year so it won’t be long before you will see framing start to take shape, always an exciting milestone so watch this space we will post progress reports on the web site and in newsletters
Yes it has been along time coming, but as they say “Good things take time”
Along with floor plans, amenity and time frame information, also featured in the Information Centre will be some of the locals you may know making the most of the amazing lifestyle of the Pohutukawa Coast and doing what they love.
