Simple Cheese Muffins

This speedy one-bowl recipe is a favourite for Pinesong Kitchen Manager Orit Hume. Regularly used in the village café, it’s ideal for anyone wanting to whip up a quick but deliciously cheesy treat. It’s a great recipe to meal prep for breakfast or lunch on busy weekdays.

This recipe makes 12-15 larger muffins, but the recipe can be halved to make less. Large muffins can be halved and enjoyed by two people.


  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 cups grated cheese
  • 8 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 eggs

Can add – chopped: Parsley, chives, pepper, onion, ham, bacon.


  • Combine all ingredients together and mix

Bake at 220°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
