Together: A celebration of Metlifecare villages in Lockdown 2020 – out now
As cases of COVID-19 emerged in New Zealand and quickly increased, the country entered lockdown – we went hard and went early. We stayed home, formed bubbles and adapted the way we lived our lives to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As a group of villages, we united as a family and worked together to survive and even thrive despite the restrictions in place. Our community pulled through and we’re incredibly proud of what we achieved.
You’ll see on the pages of this publication some of the heart-warming initiatives, creativity, togetherness and acts of kindness spurred by weeks of isolation. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful residents for their support and cooperation during this time.
