Metlifecare is proudly a member of the Retirement Village Asociation RVA. The RVA is a voluntary industry association that represents the interests of registered retirement village owners, developers and managers throughout New Zealand, as well as individuals and organisations who supply goods and services to the retirement village industry. They have a whole host of useful information related to retirement living in New Zealand.
Seniorline is a national information service to help older people and their whanau navigate the health system. It is funded by all 20 District Health Boards in New Zealand. Seniorline provides information to assist older people to make decisions about staying at home, support for carers and residential care.
Retirement Villages Code of Practice 2008
The Code of Practice 2008 sets out further rights and obligations of retirement village operators and residents. It provides a set of minimum requirements that all retirement village operators must comply with.
