Terms and Conditions
- These terms apply to the $5,000 cashback promotion being offered at certain villages for a limited time (Cashback Promotion).
- This Cashback Promotion is available for new residents (Applicants) applying for a serviced apartment with a service package at Coastal Villas, Hibiscus Coast Village, Longford Park Village and Highland Park Village (Participating Units).
- To be eligible for the Cashback Promotion, Applicants must:
a) be a new prospective resident at the time they make their application;
b) submit an application for an Occupation Right Agreement (ORA) in respect of a Participating Unit between 1 June 2026 and 31 July 2026 (Promotional Period);
c) enter into an ORA for a Participating Unit and settle that ORA on or before 30 September 2026; and
d) pay the capital sum in full for the Participating Unit on or prior to the commencement date of the ORA. For the avoidance of doubt, the Cashback Promotion is not available to prospective residents who receive any form of loan or deferred payment arrangement. - By submitting an application for an ORA in respect of a Participating Unit during the Promotional Period, you are deemed to have accepted the terms for this Cashback Promotion.
- As this Cashback Promotion requires entry into an ORA, the usual resident eligibility criteria apply (including any medical assessment requirements).
- Applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria in these terms will receive a cashback payment of $5,000 to their nominated bank account on the 25th day of the month following the month in which settlement of their ORA occurs (Cashback Payment).
- Only one Cashback Payment is payable per qualifying ORA. If two residents settle an ORA together as joint residents or tenants in common, the Cashback Payment will be made to them jointly.
- You must repay the Cashback Payment back to Metlifecare if you cancel your ORA:
a) during the cooling off period; or
b) in accordance with the 90-Day Guarantee. - Metlifecare will be entitled to deduct the value of the Cashback Payment from any payment due as a result of such cancellation or termination if it has not been repaid on or before the date Metlifecare is required to make payment to you in accordance with the ORA.
- The Cashback Promotion will not apply to transfers between Metlifecare villages or units, existing residents transferring accommodation, applications submitted outside the Promotional Period, or settlements occurring after 30 September 2026.
- The Cashback Payment is not transferable and is not a discount to the capital sum.
- This Cashback Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Metlifecare promotion, discount, rebate or incentive unless otherwise agreed by Metlifecare in writing.
- Metlifecare is not liable for any damages or claims whatsoever arising from your participation in the Cashback Promotion.
- Metlifecare’s Privacy Policy available on its website shall apply to any personal information you submit to us in connection with the Cashback Promotion and is incorporated into these terms and conditions.
- Metlifecare reserves the right to verify eligibility and amend these terms and conditions and/or extend, suspend or terminate the Cashback Promotion at any time and without giving reasons.
