These terms apply to the Care Home Friends and Family Referral Incentive promotion (the Promotion). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms.
- The promoter is Metlifecare Limited of Level 4, 110 Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket, Auckland (Metlifecare).
- The Promotion commences from 1 August 2025 and ends 31 October 2025 (the Promotional Period).
- The Promotion is open to current Care Home residents (and/or their personal representatives acting on their behalf) at a Participating Village (the Referrer).
- The Promotion applies to referrals for potential new resident(s) to Metlifecare (the Referred Resident) to a villa or an apartment (a Participating Unit) at Greenwich Gardens, Whangarei Park Village, or Oakridge Villas (each, a Participating Village). Referred Residents must be new applicants for a Participating Unit at a Participating Village.
- To enter the Promotion:
a) The Referrer must complete and submit a referral form to the Village Sales Executive during the Promotional Period.
b) The referral form must be submitted before a completed application form in respect of the Referred Resident is received by Metlifecare.
c) Referred Residents previously referred to Metlifecare may still be eligible, provided that a new referral form is submitted during the Promotional Period.
d) Only one referral form per Referred Resident will be recognised (being the first referral form received by Metlifecare during the Promotional Period). - Metlifecare takes its obligations under the Privacy Act 2020 and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 seriously. Before submitting a referral form, the Referrer must ensure that the Resident and the Referred Resident are aware of the referral and consents to the Resident and the Referrer providing Metlifecare with any personal information contained in the referral form and to Metlifecare contacting the Referred Resident to arrange an appointment. Any personal information is submitted to us in connection with this Promotion will be used in accordance with Metlifecare’s Privacy Policy
- For both parties to each receive $1,000 (the Reward):
a) the Referrer must submit a valid referral form during the Promotional Period; and
b) the Referred Resident must:
i. apply for an Occupation Right Agreement (ORA) for a Participating Unit during the Promotional Period;
ii. the Commencement Date of the ORA must occur on or before 31 October 2025
iii. pay the Capital Sum under the ORA in full on or before 28 February 2026. - The Reward will be paid respectively to each party’s nominated bank account on the 25th day of the month following the month in which the Commencement Date of the Referred Resident’s ORA falls.
- As the Promotion requires entry into and commencement of an ORA, our usual resident criteria apply (including satisfaction of any medical conditions).
- Unless otherwise stated or agreed by us, the Promotion cannot be used in connection with any other discount, offer or promotion.
- Metlifecare reserves the right to retain cashback if the ORA is cancelled during the cooling off period or under the 90-day Money Back Guarantee (see ORA for further details).
- Metlifecare reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or extend, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time and without giving reasons.
