If you are supporting a family member and starting to explore care options, National Open Day can be a reassuring place to begin.
You will have the chance to talk through what support might be right now or in the future, understand how needs assessments work, and learn what moving into care can look like, step by step. You can also meet the people who would be there day to day, caring and supporting your family member.
Many families tell us it feels easier to make decisions once they have visited a care home in person and had time to talk things through.
