Metlifecare Palmerston North – “Refer a friend” promotion full terms and conditions

These terms apply to the Metlifecare Palmerston North Resident New Referral $3,000 Incentive promotion (the Promotion). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms.

  1. 1.The promoter is Metlifecare Limited of Level 4, 110 Carlton Gore Street, Newmarket, Auckland (Metlifecare).
  2. The Promotion is being run for referrals of potential new resident(s) (the Referred Resident) by existing residents at all Metlifecare retirement villages (excluding care homes) (the Participating Villages).
  3. To enter the Promotion, the referring resident (Referrer) must complete a referral form for the Referred Resident and submit it to the Sales Executive at the Participating Village.
  4. The Promotion commences on 1 April 2025, with applications in by 30 September 2025, and settle by 30 December 2025. (the Promotional Period).
  5. This Promotion is open to Referred Residents who may have been previously referred to Metlifecare, so long as a new referral form is submitted during the Promotional Period.
  6. Before submitting a referral form, the Referrer must ensure the Referred Resident is aware of the referral and contents to the Referrer providing Metlifecare with any personal information contained within the referral form and Metlifecare contacting the Referred Resident to arrange an appointment. The Referred Resident’s personal information will be used in accordance with Metlifecare’s Privacy Policy.
  7. For both parties to receive $3,000 (Reward):
    1. the Referrer must complete a referral form for the Referred Resident and submit it to the Village Sales Executive during the Promotional Period. The referral form must be submitted before a completed application form in respect of the Referred Resident is received by Metlifecare, otherwise it will not be recognised.
    2. the Referred Resident must:
    a. return a completed and signed application form prior to the end of the Promotional Period.
    b. enter into an Occupational Right Agreement with Metlifecare (and not cancel during the cooling-off period); and
    c. settle and move into their new unit on or before 30 September 2025.
  8. The Reward will be paid to each party’s nominated bank account on the 25th of the month following settlement of the Referred Resident’s Occupation Right Agreement.
  9. For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion does not apply to a referral to a care home within a Participating Village.
  10. Only one referral form per Referred Resident will be recognised (that being the first referral form received by Metlifecare during the Promotional Period).
  11. Otherwise stated or agreed by us, the Promotion cannot be used in connection with any other discount, offer or promotion.
  12. Metlifecare reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or extend, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time and without giving reasons.

    Our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.metlifecare.co.nz/privacy-policy/ shall apply to any personal information you submit to us in connection with the Promotion and is incorporated into these terms and conditions.
