Recycling for a cause

Residents at Greenwood Park are proving that sustainability and community spirit go hand in hand through their popular Recycled Boutique pop-up shop.

The initiative encourages residents to donate quality pre-loved clothing, shoes and accessories that are no longer needed. A dedicated team of volunteers then carefully sorts and displays the items in a boutique-style shopping experience.

With everything priced between just $1 and $5, the pop-up shop offers residents the chance to pick up a bargain while supporting two worthy causes.

Proceeds from every sale are donated to breast cancer awareness initiatives, and any clothing left unsold is then passed on to Women’s Refuge, ensuring the generosity continues to benefit others.

The Recycled Boutique has become much more than a shopping event. It’s a wonderful example of residents coming together to reduce waste, support important charities and give pre-loved treasures a second life.
