Oakridge Villas Garden Safari Promotion Full Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the Oakridge Villas Garden Safari Promotion (the Promotion). By entering into the Promotion and/or applying for an Occupation Right Agreement (ORA) to enter into this Promotion, you are deemed to accept these Terms.

1. The Promotion is for a one-off payment of NZD $30,000.00 from Metlifecare to your nominated bank account (Cashback) and a Prezzy® card for the value of NZD $5,000.00 (Housewarming Gift), (together, the Prize)
2. The Promotion is open to new residents who attend the 2025 Garden Safari and apply for an ORA for a brand-new (not previously occupied) independent living unit which is available for occupation (Participating Unit) at Oakridge Villas (Village).
3. To qualify for the Prize, you must:
   a) Attend the 2025 Garden Safari and have your Garden Safari Booklet validated at the Village; and 
   b) Submit an application for an ORA in respect of a Participating Unit between 1 November 2025 and 30 November 2025 (Promotional Period). The ORA Commencement Date must occur by 31 March 2026.
4. The Capital Sum must be paid in full by the ORA Commencement Date to receive the Prize.
5. Only one Prize will be awarded per Participating Unit, regardless of the number of applicants or residents associated with that unit.
6. To receive the Cashback, you agree to provide your bank account details by one of the following methods:
   a) copy of your bank deposit slip;
   b) copy of your bank statement; or
   c) screenshot of your internet banking showing your bank logo, account name and account number.
7. The Cashback will be paid on the 25th day of the month following the month in which the ORA Commencement Date falls.
8. If you cancel the ORA during the cooling off period or under the 90-day Money Back Guarantee, you agree to pay the Cashback back to us, or alternatively we may deduct the Cashback amount from the refund that we pay you under your ORA (see ORA for further details). No payment will be made if the ORA is terminated before the Cashback is paid.
9. The Housewarming Gift will be delivered to the Participating Unit on the ORA Commencement Date. Standard Prezzy® card terms and conditions apply – see https://www.prezzycard.co.nz/terms-and-conditions
10. The Prize is not a discount to the Capital Sum and is not transferable for any other service or discount.
11. The Promotion applies only to Participating Units and is valid only during the Promotional Period. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion does not apply to Care Suites.
12. As the Promotion requires entry into and settlement of an ORA, our usual resident criteria apply (including satisfaction of any medical conditions).
13. Unless otherwise stated or agreed by us, the Promotion cannot be used in connection with any other discount, offer or promotion.
14. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or extend, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time.
15. Our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.metlifecare.co.nz/privacy-policy/ shall apply to any personal information you submit to us in connection with the Promotion and is incorporated into these terms and conditions.
16. References to “we”, “us”, “our” or “Metlifecare” means Metlifecare Limited of Level 4, 110 Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket, Auckland.
