Terms & Conditions - Ōtau Ridge
These terms apply to the $10,000 Relocation Service promotion and $20,000 cashback promotion (the Promotion). Your entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms.
- The Promotion applies to new residents applying for an ORA for one of the villas at Otau Ridge (Participating Villas).
- The offer is for
- $10,000 including GST (the Offer Value) towards your choice of relocation services provided by Moving On (see https://www.movingon.nz (https://www.movingon.nz/) for further information) in connection with your move into a Participating Unit (the Offer), and
- $20,000 Cashback: A payment of $20,000 credited towards the capital sum at settlement.
- To qualify for the Promotion and receive the Offer, you must apply for an Occupation Right Agreement (ORA) in respect of a Participating Unit from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2025 and settle the ORA in full on or before 30 September 2025.
- Usual resident criteria applies (including satisfaction of any medical conditions) and settlement of the ORA must occur in full within the timeframe specified in these terms.
- If costs incurred are less than the Offer Value, you shall not be entitled to any payment from Metlifecare for the shortfall. You will be responsible for any costs exceeding the Offer Value.
- Only one Offer is available per Unit. If two residents settle an ORA together as joint residents or tenants in common then one Offer will be paid to them jointly.
- You must repay the amount of the Offer Value paid to you back to Metlifecare if you cancel your ORA:
- during the cooling off period (set out in clause 15.1 of the ORA); or
- in accordance with the 90 Day Guarantee (set out in clause 15.4 of the ORA).
- Metlifecare will be entitled to deduct the repayment of the Package value from any payment due as a result of such cancellation or termination if it has not been repaid on or before the date Metlifecare is required to make payment to you in accordance with the ORA.
- The Offer is not redeemable, refundable or transferable for cash or other services.
- Metlifecare is not liable for any damages or claims whatsoever arising from your participation in the Promotion.
- Our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.metlifecare.co.nz/privacy-policy/) shall apply to any personal information you submit to us in connection with the Promotion and is incorporated into these terms and conditions.
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or extend, suspend or terminate the Promotion at any time and without giving reasons.
