When art meets fashion

Creativity, colour and community spirit were on full display at Longford Park Village’s annual three-day Wearable Arts Show in May.

The event showcased an incredible array of imaginative wearable creations, highlighting the talent, humour and craftsmanship of its residents.

Just as impressive was the generosity of everyone involved. Through ticket sales, donations and fundraising activities, the event raised $1,600. This was generously boosted by a further $1,400 contribution from the resident committee, bringing the grand total to an outstanding $3,000.

Village Sales Executive Sue Braithwaite-Smith did a fantastic job as compère, while Village Manager Paul Johnson strutted his stuff on the catwalk!

It was a true celebration of creativity, connection and community spirit.
