Metlifecare's two participating Wellington villages offer very different settings. Coastal Villas combines flat, established grounds with a relaxed resort feel and care options on site. Kāpiti Village offers independent retirement living across 18 hectares of woodlands, lakes and wildlife.

Open Days are your chance to compare both and decide which atmosphere feels more like home.

What happens on Open Days?

Open Days are an opportunity to experience the village for yourself and get a genuine feel for what day-to-day retirement living could look like.

Village staff will be ready to greet you, learn what has brought you in and point you towards the things you most want to see.

Tour the village

Take a guided look around the village, including its shared spaces and amenities, and see how residents use them from day to day.

Step inside a selection of homes currently available and get a clearer sense of the space, style and living option that could suit you.

Talk with residents and staff

Chat with people who live at the village and the team who support it. Ask about the community, activities, amenities and what an ordinary day is really like.
