Location

Crestwood is at 38 Golf Road, New Lynn, a West Auckland suburb sitting between the city fringe and the edge of the Waitakere Ranges. The village is immediately adjacent to Titirangi Golf Course and set among 6 hectares of native bush, giving it a peaceful, green address that still has good access to the wider city.

New Lynn is a well-established suburb with a strong local identity, good transport links, and easy access to some of Auckland's most distinctive natural environments. Titirangi, one of Auckland's most characterful communities, known for its arts scene, cafés, and bush, is right next door. The area sits at the gateway to the Waitakere Ranges, and the west coast character of the place is felt strongly here.

Green Bay Shopping Centre, less than a kilometre from the village, has a medical centre providing GP services close at hand. Waitakere Hospital in Henderson is around 10 minutes by car on Lincoln Road, a full general hospital with a 24-hour emergency department with two wards specifically dedicated to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients over 65.

Green Bay Shopping Centre is around 500 metres from the village and has a New World supermarket, chemist, post shop, bakery, and medical centre more than enough for day-to-day needs. LynnMall, one of New Zealand's longest-established shopping malls, is about 2.5 kilometres away. Titirangi village, with its cafés and independent shops, is a short drive in the other direction.

There is a bus stop 200 metres from the main entrance on Astley Avenue, and the village also has its own transport available for residents. New Lynn train station, on Auckland's electrified Western Line, is close by and offers rapid rail services into Auckland's CBD in around 30 minutes. The Northwestern Motorway (SH16) provides straightforward access to the wider Auckland region.

The Waitakere Ranges are essentially on the doorstep. The ranges form an area of outstanding natural beauty, dense native bush, waterfalls, and tracks that lead down to the black sand beaches of Piha and Karekare on the Tasman coast, both within about 40 minutes by car. The bush begins almost immediately outside the village, and residents who value being close to nature will find this one of the most distinctive addresses in Auckland.
