Bay Sands Village is at 33 Gloucester Road, Mt Maunganui, one of New Zealand's most beloved coastal communities. The address puts you in the heart of the Mount, with the beach, the shops, the golf course, and the iconic volcanic peak all close at hand.

Very much so. Bayfair Shopping Centre, one of the Bay of Plenty's largest retail and dining precincts, is just minutes from the village. The cafes, restaurants, and specialty stores along Maunganui Road are also close by, making both everyday errands and a leisurely lunch equally easy.

Mt Maunganui is one of the best places in New Zealand to be active outdoors. The famous Ocean Beach is minutes away, the base walk around Mauao (the Mount) is a local institution, and the Omanu Golf Course is right on the doorstep. There is a remarkable amount to do without travelling far. How far is Bay Sands Village from Tauranga city centre? Tauranga city is a short drive across the Tauranga Harbour Bridge, around 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. It brings the full range of city amenities within easy reach: specialist medical services, galleries, theatres, and a wider choice of retail and dining beyond what the Mount itself offers.

Yes. Tauranga Airport is close by, making the village straightforward for visitors flying in from Auckland or Wellington. For those driving, Mt Maunganui is around two and a half to three hours from Auckland, with Hamilton and Rotorua considerably closer. Family and friends will find visiting easy.
